Dignowity Hill was San Antonio’s first exclusive residential suburb in the early 1900's as can be seen by the large houses and huge lots. It is now considered a Historic neighborhood of San Antonio. You are in the perfect location to site see and as we mentioned above you are basically 1 mile from all of the downtown tourist attractions (Riverwalk, Convention Center, The Alamo, The Pearl). We are also a step away from the historic Hays Bridge & only one block from the Alamo Brewery! Our home has been designed to keep its Historic designation but we also added all of the modern luxuries you could desire. Your safety is our utmost priority, and for your peace of mind, so we have added in special cleaning guidelines to sanitize the house after every stay to keep guests extra safe! We have amazing neighbors and we have had zero safety concerns but if this kind of environment would impact your stay we recommend picking a suburban environment further away from the downtown area. Like many urban areas right next to the downtown, you will notice the gentrification which includes houses that are not taken care of and often homeless individuals walking in the neighborhood. A one-story layout the house offers 4 bedrooms that are all themed and gorgeously designed after San Antonio's biggest attractions! It also offers two full bathrooms. The modern kitchen is well stocked to provide anything you might need to cook a delicious meal, finished with stainless steel appliances. Our backyard has a gorgeous pergola, perfect patio furniture and also a propane bbq grill that your group is free to use. Bedroom 1 (The Alamo): The master suite is perfectly designed with a luxury king mattress, and 4K HD Smart TV, and has enough space to set up a pack-n-play we provide. Bedroom 2 (The Riverwalk): With vaulted ceilings, a Queen bed, your own TV, and a private walkout patio this room is perfect for some privacy. Bedroom 3 (Tower of the Americas): Pack in the room that offers two full beds! Bedroom 4 (Mission Trails): The arcade room that offers full-sized NBA Jam, Street Fighter and OutRun (racing game). We also have an amazing glow-in-the-dark fort that can be setup, a full size and trundle bed (two twin mattresses). The backyard is massive and has one shed and one large storage house that is boarded up. It also has additional parking that is gated for those with many cars or that would feel more secure parking there. RULES: For cancellations, please note that we do charge a payment processing fee on top of our cancellation policy. We also charge $150 for an unapproved late checkout. Smoking is strictly prohibited inside our property. You can smoke outside the property but we will just ask to make sure the smoke doesn't go inside and dispose of cigarette butts properly. Violation of our non-smoking policy will result in a minimum fee of $500. We only host groups over the age of 25+ years old. Will need ID verification. No parties or events. We only accept pets that are under 35 pounds and we will just ask for a picture. Pet Fee is $85 (max of 2). This is a one-time, non-refundable fee as we shampoo the carpets after each pet stay. No pets on furniture, please! Also, please clean up your pet's feces or we will charge an additional $40 fee if uncleaned feces are found. Please note that a fee of $25 per night per guest applies for stays with guests above 8. We are available for all of your needs and our number one goal is for you to have a 5-star experience & stay.
